Hello,

Jefferson High School is hosting the next San Antonio High School Chess League event on Wednesday, October 25.  Here are some details.

This is a 4 round event, with a Game/15 time control (15 minutes per side in each game).
There will likely be 2 divisions, but if we have enough, we can form a 3rd division.
We will start as close to 5:30 as possible. If we keep things moving, we can be finished with awards by 7:45.

I have been hearing some interest from middle schools who want to compete, and that is up to each host school. As far as I know, middle schools are invited for this event.

Please send me your rosters as soon as you know who will come.  If I get it the day of the event, that is fine, but it helps if I get it before 4:00 (or so).

Also, if you are interested in hosting, the next event, lets start that planning now.  We should discuss the date for that, because the Thanksgiving Break is November 20 through 24.  The Wednesday after that gives little time to get a team organized to come if planning starts after the break, so I think Dec 6 would be better.  Alternatively, we could host earlier, like November 15.
