Chess leaders,

RESCHEDULED due to weather - new date/time is September 9 at 6:00 pm.

I would like to invite all the scholastic chess leaders (school coaches
and tournament directors) in Greater San Antonio (eight Texas counties) to
a planning dinner for scholastic chess tournaments.  Dinner with meeting
to follow will be 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 9.

Attendees should come prepared to accept responsibility for various
scholastic chess tournament tasks.  Agenda items include 1) trying to
schedule at least one scholastic tournament every month, 2) finalizing the
bid for hosting Regionals in San Antonio this coming Spring, and 3)
discussions about hosting other large scholastic tournaments in San
Antonio.

Please let me know if you plan to come so that we know how much food to
plan.  I will send directions to my house (near Boerne) to those who
respond affirmatively.  Also, please forward to anyone you think would be
interested.
